Long awaited be sports fans, the Golf Channel / Versus HD launching on August 15, 2007. This new HD channel is a simulcast of the Golf Channel programming by day and a simulcast of Versus (formerly OLN) content by night. Under the Versus brand, the channel will initially offer HD hockey, boxing, bull riding and field sports, which will air from 7PM to midnight. Golf Channel programming will include an exclusive HD airing of the PGA Tour and hundreds of hours of play from other tournaments, and will run from noon to 7PM. The Golf Channel / Versus HD will be available on DishHD with AT250.
The History Channel HD wil be launching on September 1, 2007 and is one of the leading cable-TV networks featuring compelling original, nonfiction specials and series that bring history to life in a powerful and entertaining manner across multiple platforms.
