“3A Telesud/Afrotainment” Channel Changing to “Afrotainment Movies”
July 30, 2009 No CommentsEffective August 1, 2009, the split feed of “3A Telesud/Afrotainment” on channel 751 will be replaced by “Afrotainment Movies.” “3A Telesud” content will no longer be broadcast in the United States, so customers will begin receiving full-time programming from “Afrotainment Movies” on channel 751.
Afrotainment Movies is exclusively dedicated to showcasing top quality African movies and TV series mainly from “Nollywood,” the prolific Nigerian film industry, and other major African motion picture houses, broadcast in both English and French. Each day viewers can enjoy five award-winning African TV series and four movies from the best African producers and directors, starring the most popular African and Nollywood actors.
