8 New HD PPV Channels on DISH Network
November 26, 2008 No CommentsJust in time for the holiday season, when family and friends love gathering around the TV to watch great movies together, DISH Network has added eight new HD Pay-Per-View (PPV) Movie channels. Effective November 20, 2008, DISH Network HD subscribers will have the opportunity to enjoy such movies as “Iron Man,” “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” and “The Incredible Hulk” in stunning HD for only $5.99 each.

The enhanced “All Day DISH Ticket” allows a customer to access Pay-Per-View programs for up to an entire day on every channel that program is playing on. Movies and events on “All Day DISH Ticket” channels are shown for up to 24 hours beginning anywhere from 5:00 AM ET to 6:30 AM ET (depending on the channel) and ending at the same time the following morning.
In order to view high-definition programs, movies, and events in HD on DISH Network Pay-Per-View, customers must have an HD television in addition to an HD-capable receiver and an applicable antenna pointed to the appropriate orbital location. Please note that purchasing a movie title on the HD PPV channels does not allow customers access to the same titles on the standard-definition PPV channels.
