The 2011 Masters kicked off Thursday morning (April 7) at 7:40am (ET) with legendary golfers and green jacket holders, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer setting up the first tee of the four day golf championship. Even if you’re not a golf fan, the Masters is a match you’ll want to tune in for where the best golfers in the world compete for the most coveted title in the PGA and of course “the green jacket!” as player Henrick Stenson announced a few days ago.

At the first half of round during the 2011 Masters, the players to top the leader board thus far are as exciting as one could have imagined for a tournament start: Rory McIlroy (-7), Matt Kuchar (-4), Sergio Garcia (-4) and Y.E. Yang (-4) – as of noon pacific standard time, for up to the minute results on the Masters leaderboard visit CBS Sports online. Tiger Woods and Lee Westwood start off the tournament with a comfortable standing at (-1) each, while the number one player in the world, Martin Kaymer gets off to a rough start at Augusta at four strokes over par. Catch up with the leaders of round one on ESPN from 3pm – 7:30pm. CBS will have Masters highlights from 11:35pm – 11:50pm. Final round coverage on Sunday, April 10 will be on CBS from 2pm – 7pm.
