Apps: No Longer Just For Phones, Now on Google TV

Apps have entertained us, given us the 411 and in some cases made our lives easier. Google TV has given us something to celebrate about now that we’re able to access apps in the comfort of our homes, whether we want to tweet our friends or listen to our favorite songs. Some of the apps that you’ll be able to access on Logitech Revue with Google TV includes: Napster, Pandora, Twitter, Netflix and CNBC. We can expect this to be a huge opportunity for app developers in the Android Market come next year, along with a presence of other companies that will be jumping on board. It’ll be interesting to see what apps develop as a result of Google TV, I know I’m pretty excited about the NBA Game Time app, just in time for the season tip off at the end of October.
